L&F's wedding was beautiful but I wanted to spend some time highlighting these details. L got her beautiful leather shoes from Italy and wanted to wear them for her special day which was the most sweet addition to her outfit. She also chose to wear a vintage Regina Glenara Glenoit faux fur jacket that complimented the late fall, early winter look for a rainy day in Washington. Her YSL perfume, vow books, and the ring boxes completed her detail shots on the green marble flooring by the fireplace and her emerald engagement ring was quite literally the jewel on top.
For the actual set up of her wedding, F spent weeks during the summer with L's family building these beautiful wooden tables for the reception dinner. The light rain during the ceremony and reception seemed to highlight the natural wood tables even more making the entire reception set up look dreamy, natural, and almost straight out of a storybook fairytale. At the end of the day the wooden tables also shaped a beautiful natural aisle for their exit from the reception dinner. Small bud vases combined with up-cycled soda pop glasses added a quirky touch and fun color to the rest of the look. Vintage-esque rugs set out on the ground formed the aisle for the ceremony and became a beautiful mix between the indoors and the outdoors.
